TrulyUp is an iOS 26+ alarm app that completes only after made-bed verification. Create an alarm, grant alarm and camera permissions, then take a fresh made-bed photo when the alarm rings.

Verification Tips

Sleep Calculator

The Sleep tab provides simple bedtime and wake-time suggestions using 90-minute sleep-cycle estimates plus about 15 minutes to fall asleep. Select a suggestion, then create the alarm you choose. The calculator does not read Apple Health or monitor sleep stages.

Alarm Safety

TrulyUp alarms do not offer snooze. A passing bed photo is the normal completion path.

Emergency Bypass is a free optional safety setting. It is off by default; when enabled before an alarm fires, it appears during verification and records the session as bypassed, not verified.

If the system Stop action is used before verification, TrulyUp records an unverified stop and re-arms the next system alarm in about two seconds until the session is verified or a previously enabled Emergency Bypass is used.

During bed verification, TrulyUp plays user-audible alarm audio through the in-app camera and if the app is briefly locked or backgrounded. This audio runs only while that alarm remains unresolved and stops after verification or Emergency Bypass. The default-on Max volume during alarm setting restores in-app media volume if it is lowered during verification. Lock-screen alarm volume is controlled separately by Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringtone & Alerts; Face ID Attention Aware Features may reduce alert loudness while you look at the screen.

Privacy

Verification photos are processed on device and discarded after scoring. They are not uploaded, saved to Photos, or stored in history. Bed references are stored only on this device and can be set, changed, or reset from Settings. While verification is pending, the app keeps only a bounded set of compact retry fingerprints for local session bookkeeping; they never override a passing on-device verification and are cleared when the session ends. Completion metadata can include timestamp, result, confidence, and attempt count.
